Pulhams launch new mobile app for passengers

Pulhams has launched a new mobile phone app, to make passenger journeys even easier.

Features include being able to plan journeys, check travel updates in real time and buy travel passes and multi-trip tickets in advance, or on the day of travel while waiting for a bus.

The new technology will enable customers to tap their phones on vehicles’ QR code readers to validate their journey.

It also provides customers with access to information on travel across multiple bus operators in the region, including Stagecoach services, to provide a joined-up view of the area’s bus services for the first time.

The app includes a function to research ‘things to do’ in the Cotswolds via an events and attractions section. Its travel planning tool enables customers to plan journeys, track buses live, see what features are on-board and understand the comprehensive network of services available.

The App is now available to download for free from the App Store and Google Play.

Gloucestershire-based Pulhams Coaches was established in 1880 and operates bus and coach routes in the Cotswolds and surrounding areas, as well as being the area’s premier coach hire provider.

Pulhams Coaches is part of its Oxford Bus Group portfolio of operating companies owned by the Go-Ahead Group which also consists of Oxford Bus company, Thames Travel, Carousel Buses and City Sightseeing Oxford.
