Academic Year Passes

A Cirencester College Academic Year Pass is available. This pass gives unlimited travel on all C-prefixed college routes plus all general network services operated by Swindon’s Bus Company (view map here) and Pulhams (view maps here), including at weekends and during college holidays (except the summer holidays). The Pass is valid on both operators’ networks, regardless of the operator of the specific College service used by each student.

Payment for the Academic Year Pass can be made in one of two ways:

  1. As a single £880 payment.
  2. As staged payments, starting with a £115 deposit payable at the time of purchase and then six subsequent monthly instalments of £130 commencing in September 2026. The total cost of this option is £895.

This page will be updated with a link to purchase passes on Monday, 29th June 2026.

Once purchased, the passes will be issued to customers via the Swindon’s Bus Company or Pulhams mobile apps. Based on the operator of the service you indicate will be your primary route (see table of timetables for confirmation), students should download either the Swindon’s Bus Company app or Pulhams app and create an account for free in advance of purchasing their pass, ensuring the same email address is entered when purchasing your annual ticket. App accounts will be created automatically for students if you’re not able to complete this before making your purchase. Once you’ve completed the pass application, your ticket will be available in the relevant app within five working days. If you opt to pay by Direct Debit, your pass will be available within five working days of your deposit payment clearing. Please ensure you order your pass in good time for the start of the academic year. Students without an app account prior to purchase will be provided with details of how to download the relevant app and access their pass once they have purchased it.

Please note, these passes are generally non-refundable. Full or partial refunds will be at our discretion and will only be considered in exceptional circumstances, for example a student leaving the college. College confirmation of the circumstances will be required before any refund can be considered.

Other Ticket Options:

Single and return tickets are available on all of the C-prefixed College routes priced at £5.30 single or £8.40 return, and a weekly ticket is available priced at £28.50. Single, return and weekly tickets can be purchased from the driver on the day using contactless payment or cash, and the Weekly ticket is additionally available via the Swindon’s Bus Company or Pulhams apps.

Further flexibility is provided by a 5-day Multiday ticket at £37.00, and a 10-trip Multitrip ticket available at £47.50. Both of these tickets are exclusively available on the Swindon’s Bus Company or Pulhams mobile apps.

In most cases the annual pass will offer best value.
