Eco-friendly for Cotswold passengers

New Eco-friendly buses join the Pulhams fleet

Three new environmentally friendly buses have joined the 80 strong fleet at Cotswold Coach and Bus operator Pulhams Coaches. The new vehicles which are manufactured in the UK are low emission with a very pleasing interior for passenger comfort.

They will be operating on the newly tendered 606 route serving Cotswold towns and villages including Winchcombe, Broadway and Bishops Cleeve into Cheltenham town centre.

Andrew Pulham, Director commented “We want to encourage people to use the bus over their car and providing a new vehicle with passenger comfort in mind is important”

The company took over the route in October 2019 from their industry colleagues Marchants Coaches and are keen to continue the well established and very valued relationships built up with passengers over the years.

Pulhams Coaches, based in Bourton-on-the-Water continues to invest heavily in fleet upgrades and replacement and recently achieved a 100% pass in the Guild of British Coach Operators independent audit covering 64 stringent audit points across all areas of the business. Andrew Pulham says “The company is renowned for quality and we have been proudly serving the community for almost 140 years. We are delighted to offer these new buses for passengers on the 606 service”
