How to manage travel alerts on the app
By enabling travel alert push notifications, you’ll receive updates directly on your phone about any new interruptions affecting the routes and stops you’ve marked as favourites in the app. You’ll also be notified of any announcements impacting the entire network.

How do I turn on notifications in the app?
Download the Pulhams app, create an account, and enable notifications to get started. Here’s how:
- Open the app menu from the top left corner.
- Select ‘Settings’.
- Under ‘User Account,’ go to ‘Notification settings’.
- Toggle on ‘Personalised travel alerts and disruptions’ to activate travel alerts.
How do I start receiving notifications?
After enabling notifications, you’ll start to receive travel alerts as push notifications, but only for the routes and stops you’ve added to your favourites.
How do I favourite a route or stop in the app?
To favourite a route, start by accessing the route timetable through the Timetables or Favourites menu. Once you’re viewing the specific route timetable, simply tap the star icon located in the top right corner of the screen.
If you want to favourite a bus stop, you have two options. You can either select the bus stop on the map and tap the star icon on the right-hand side or, while viewing a timetable, select the stop and then tap the star icon.
Do I need an app account to start receiving notifications?
Yes, you’ll need an app account to get notifications. To create one, you need only your email address and a password.
Will I receive notifications for every route?
No, you’ll only receive notifications for your favourite routes and stops, plus any network-wide announcements.
I’ve done all of this, but I’m still not receiving notifications…
If you’ve followed all these steps and are still not receiving any notifications, please check that you have allowed notifications from our app in your device settings.
