  • 24 hours per week
  • Salary of £16,500 – £18,000, dependent on experience

As a Payroll Administrator for Pulhams, your main duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare starter and leaver details for payroll
  • Check weekly duty data for accuracy
  • Process sickness and holiday pay
  • Manage cash shorts and overs for drivers
  • Send payroll corrections to Head Office on time
  • Review reports and totals before payroll approval
  • Handle wage queries promptly and professionally
  • Maintain accurate payroll records
  • Provide payroll information for employees when needed (e.g., mortgages, loans, tax, visas)
  • Prepare KPI reports and submit required data to the pensions office

 

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Confident communicator with strong teamwork skills

  • High accuracy and attention to detail
  • Able to manage workload independently and meet deadlines
  • Familiar with payroll processes and terminology
  • Comfortable analysing and critiquing data
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
  • Calm, pragmatic and able to stay composed under pressure
  • Flexible approach to working hours
  • Experience with rota systems (desirable)
  • Driving licence for travel between sites (desirable)
