Pulhams launch personalised travel alerts app feature

A new feature providing bus users in the Cotswolds and the surrounding areas with real-time updates on stops and services has been launched by Pulhams via its mobile app.

The Pulhams App has been upgraded to include personalised travel alerts allowing users to receive bespoke updates on services they use most frequently.

It means customers can stay informed on any potential delays, accidents or disruptions that might impact their travel plans by receiving a notification directly to their smartphones, ensuring they have the latest information at their fingertips.

The feature is designed to enhance Pulhams’ overall customer experience by helping passengers make informed decisions about their travel plans and avoid unnecessary delays with updates tailored to their journey.

The technology has been introduced ahead of the beginning of Pulhams’ new five-year contract with Cirencester College, delivered in partnership with Swindon Bus Company. Pulhams will dedicate 12 services to transport students studying at the college from towns and villages in Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire and Wiltshire.

To use the personalised travel alerts feature, bus users can simply download the Pulhams App and create an account. From there, users can select their preferred bus stops and services and start receiving notifications.

In addition to providing real-time service updates, bus users can also use the app to purchase tickets, plan their journeys, view the latest timetables and explore activities to do locally.
