Cotswolds Designer Outlet partners with Pulhams to provide sustainable travel service

Pulhams has been appointed to provide a weekend shuttle bus service to the newly opened Cotswold Designer Outlet.

Located on the edge of Tewkesbury, the exclusive retail destination is proving popular with high footfall since opening this summer.

As part of its sustainable travel offering, it has partnered with the Cotswolds’ leading bus and coach operator to provide a weekend and bank holiday shuttle bus service for visitors.

It operates between the site and Tewkesbury town centre, with stops at The Crescent outside Tewkesbury Abbey and the train station.  The service runs every 30 minutes throughout the day and starts half an hour before the outlet opens and ends half an hour after it closes.

Pulhams has invested in a new branded bus to deliver the service, which is free from the outlet if guests spend over £20 on the day on site and present receipts as proof.

Alex Chutter, Area Director at Pulhams, said: “We’re proud to have secured this prestigious contract to provide a sustainable mode of transport for guests to Cotswold Designer Outlet at peak periods.

“This builds on Oxford Bus Group’s portfolio of commercial partnerships, which includes Bicester Village and Milton Park.

“We’ve had a fantastic initial response to the service and look forward to continuing to welcome customers onboard.”

English Local Authority Bus Passes are accepted on the shuttle bus. Journeys are £2 for a single or £3 for a return fare.
